About silent heritage PROJECT

My name is Dr. George J. Anastasopoulos, and I am the founder of The Silent Heritage Project, a nonprofit cultural and educational initiative dedicated to preserving and promoting the heritage of Classical Greece.

For many years, I have worked in international education, quality, conformity assessment, writing, and public service. My passion for Greek history and culture also led me to write The Silent Gods of Aixone, a historical novel set in Classical Athens. That experience inspired a broader mission: To help ensure that the achievements, values, stories, and cultural legacy of Ancient Greece remain accessible to future generations.

 I am establishing The Silent Heritage Project as an educational and cultural initiative dedicated to preserving, promoting, and sharing the enduring legacy of Classical Greece. The Project will bring Greek history and cultural heritage to wider audiences through: 

• Free educational materials on Classical Greece.
• Public lectures, webinars, and cultural events.
• Historical publications, videos, and digital resources.
• Programs for students, teachers, and young readers.
• Research, scholarships, competitions, and educational awards.
• Initiatives promoting the preservation and responsible interpretation of Greek cultural heritage.
• Partnerships with schools, universities, museums, libraries, and cultural organizations.

My effort is to create a lasting educational project that will give the cultural heritage of Classical Greece a renewed voice in the modern world.
